We are located in Southern Ohio in the Village of Piketon on US 23 between Chillicothe and Portsmouth. Our school district enrollment is approximately 1600 students and we have 182 employees.
In the schools of the Scioto Valley District learning is conducted in a pleasant, but business-like atmosphere. Our teachers have high standards for instruction and for the work they assign to students. Boys and girls are expected to come to classrooms prepared to work, cooperate and display an attitude conducive to the learning process.
The district is rated in continuous improvement on the State Local Report Card. We constantly strive for improvement in all areas of the curriculum.
